A recent public outreach campaign in the Baheri Assembly constituency, reportedly conducted by a representative of Varun Gandhi, has once again reignited speculation about the political future of the BJP’s sidelined former Pilibhit MP.
Varun Gandhi, former MP, who has been distancing himself from the BJP for long, sparked speculations in political circles about the prospects of his rejoining the saffron party after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday along with his wife and daughter.
Varun asserted he has no enmity towards the contenders of other parties, including the INDIA bloc candidate, and that he will be equally present for everyone in times of trouble.
The outgoing BJP MP expressed his sentiments in an open letter on breaking of his political relationship with the constituency.
BJP MP from Pilibhit Varun Feroz Gandhi has once again targeted the Yogi Adityanath Government in Uttar Pradesh and at the Centre on the issue of unemployment and blamed that unemployment is at its peak in the country and the state.
Varun said that there is a flood in the entire Terai region of the state, "people need help, but even at such a time, help is not being provided by the government".
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Rajya Sabha Leader of the House and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal are among the top members of the Executive.
As per some sources from the party, the omission of the two leaders has been stated as a "routine exercise".
The video, which has gone viral on social medial, is said to have been taken on October 3, the day on which violence took place in Lakhimpur Kheri.
