Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday rendered support to farmers who have embarked on the 'Delhi Chalo' protest and appealed to the central government to fulfil the demands of the cultivators.

Badal while welcoming Mittal into the SAD fold appointed him the party’s halqa incharge from the seat.
The SAD chief said AAP has led a very public campaign urging Punjabis to repose their trust in Kejriwal for more than one year.
Badal said like previous elections AAP was selling tickets in this election too. He said Members of Parliament and legislators elected by people of AAP left party against the dictatorship of Kejriwal.
