A detailed inquiry report is being prepared regarding a private hospital in North Delhi's Shalimar Bagh following an inquiry ordered by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta over complaints of alleged irregularities and negligence affecting patients.
The district administration maintained that none of the occupants facing demolition had ownership rights recorded in official land documents.
Seven water ATMs installed across Shalimar Bagh wards will supply purified drinking water daily, with high-capacity units and card-based access aimed at improving local water availability.
Kumar was rushed to a nearby hospital by his younger brother and friends but was declared dead on arrival, police said on Monday, adding that the incident occurred on Sunday evening around 5:30 pm¸ ACP, Shalimar Bagh said.
"At present, no ongoing projects are available to be executed at monuments under the jurisdiction of the ASI which are located in DDA owned land," Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.
Taking to social media platform X, Gupta said, "Today, I inaugurated the 'Apheresis Machine' donated by New India Assurance Company Limited at the Lions Blood Center in Shalimar Bagh and dedicated it to the public service."
During the inspection on Friday, Saxena expressed satisfaction at the pace and status of the rejuvenation work of the monument and the complex that started after his first visit to the location in January this year.
The ministry has also handed over the Dilli Chalo, Ghata Masjid, Urdu Academy and Sadbhavna Parks behind the Red Fort and the Walled City for rejuvenation and redevelopment to DDA. The tenders for redevelopment projects of these parks are in advance stages.
