The Bench further stated that there has to be some balance as once the families have progressed due to reservation and there is social mobility, the rationale for continuing such benefits to the next generation requires reconsideration.
The Opposition opened a front against the state government in the Bihar Legislative Assembly on Monday accusing the Nitish Kumar government of being “anti-reservation”. Holding posters and banners, Opposition legislators reiterated their demand to implement 85% reservation.
