Singh flew from New Delhi to land in the Jaisalmer Air Force Station Thursday evening. Higher IAF ranks and district officers welcomed Singh at the air station, from where he drove to the Army station.
The defence minister said Operation Sindoor was a message to the world that we’re always ready to respond to every challenge.
Singh emphasised that the traditional defence outlook is no longer sufficient in today’s times as wars are fought not only on the borders, but have now taken a hybrid and asymmetrical form.
