As per the press note issued by the poll panel the deployed personnel include nearly 4.53 lakh polling personnel, 2.5 lakh police officials, 28,370 counting personnel, 17,875 micro-observers, 9,625 sector officers, and 4,840 micro-observers for counting.
Generic complaints, without prescribed Forms or declaration, are not counted as Claims (Form 6) and Objections (Form 7), the press release stated.
Bihar has become the first state in India to have all polling stations with less than 1,200 electors, the poll panel claimed Monday.
The move will benefit the listed electors in the state who will not be required to submit additional documents during the registration process, it said.
