Speaking at the Bihar Legislative Assembly’s foundation day ceremony in Patna on Saturday, Birla expressed concern over instances of disruptions and disorderly conduct in legislative proceedings and observed that such practices adversely affect the image of democratic institutions.
Gupta has expressed confidence that this digital transition will eliminate large volumes of paper used earlier for legislative procedures.
The remarks were made by the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs on Friday during the 3rd National Conference on National eVidhan Application (NeVA) held at Parliament House, New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Gupta stated, “The inauguration of the NeVA Seva Centre and the successful completion of the first phase of implementation of the application marks a critical milestone in our commitment to a digital, transparent, and sustainable legislature."
The crucial transformative projects underway at the Delhi Legislative Assembly complex, including the technological upgrades in line with the NeVA (National e- Vidhan Application), and the renovation, are expected to be completed by July 27.

The National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) project has been launched in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Secretariat, and the proceedings of the events in the House have been made paperless.
