This came days after questioning Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi in the case in which she had appeared for three rounds of questioning amid massive protests across nation by Congress workers.
Sonia Gandhi has been summoned on June 8 whereas Rahul Gandhi has been summoned on Thursday (June 2). Soon after receiving the summon, Rahul Gandhi wrote to the ED saying he won't be able to join the probe tomorrow (Thursday).
Both will have to appear before the probe agency to record their statements on June 8.
The AJL had challenged the December 21 order of a single judge bench that dismissed its plea against the Urban Development Ministry, which on October 30, 2018, had said that AJL's 56-year-old lease on Herald House has ended and it must vacate.
2019 may be a battle of projecting to the national public which party is a bigger thief, rather than which party would provide economic relief and growth.
