With Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's Jan Ashirwad yatra concluding its first phase, he has expressed happiness over the immense outpouring of public support when he traversed more 25 constituencies across 8 days, highlighting that it has been an unprecedented response from the public showering them with blessings.
Speaking at the BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Madhya Pradesh, the Union minister said while Rahul Gandhi tarnishes the image of India abroad, the Opposition leaders defame the Sanatan Dharma and Hindu religion in the country.
The opposition Congress claimed that the incident was an outcome of the internal rift in the BJP.
Talking to media in Dharamshala on 4th day of the yatra, Thakur said as the yatra was progressing in the state, its nature had changed drastically as people had turned out in huge numbers despite the rains.
