Putting to rest weeks of speculation over the new BJP president in Himachal Pradesh, Rajeev Bindal is all set to retain the top post.
The BJP held a candle march protest on Thursday evening, demanding a CBI probe into the death of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) Chief Engineer Vimal Negi.
Calling the Union Budget a historic one, the Himachal Pradesh BJP General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that the Central government has taken care of all sections of the society. In a statement issued here on Monday, he said BJP will be propagating the budget from state to district and mandal level in the upcoming days.
In a statement on Tuesday, Bindal claimed that the government is working towards dismantling major institutions in Himachal Pradesh.
“The government is lying about providing 28000 jobs, whereas in fact it has not even provided 28 jobs,” he claimed while addressing public meetings at Dharamshala in Dehra assembly constituency on Saturday to support BJP candidate Hoshyar Singh.
