Further the Education Grant has also been increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 per month per head for up to two dependent children (Class I to Graduation) or widows pursuing a two-year postgraduate course.
There will be no financial cap on treatment costs related to Yoga, Ayurveda, and Naturopathy. Nearly 60 lakh ex-servicemen and their families are expected to benefit.

The official said that this recruitment will be valid till 30.9.2023. The contract of ex-servicemen will be terminated in a phased manner.
