A few days ago, a team from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) rescued 59 children from the factory. The hands of the children were burnt and skin peeled off from the palms of some.
Today is “The World Against Trafficking in Persons” Day. With this year's theme of ‘’Use & Abuse of Technology” many organisations are commemorating this day with a hope to spread awareness and education of the threats that human trafficking poses to the society.
These children were working in local garages, hotels and other commercial establishments in different parts of Delhi.

'As the pandemic wreaks havoc on family incomes, without support, many could resort to child labour,' said ILO Director-General, Guy Ryder.
The top court's bench comprising of Chief Justice SA Bobde and Justices AS Bopanna and Hrishikesh Roy sought reply from the Centre and all the state governments on the matter.
