Punjab Police and the BSF recovered five pistols, ammunition and 2.44 kg of heroin in separate joint operations in Ferozepur, intensifying efforts to crack down on cross-border drone-based smuggling.
In a major success against cross-border narcotics smuggling, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police have seized 27 kilograms of heroin in a joint operation conducted near the India-Pakistan international border.
The Border Security Force recovered a large cache of weapons, including an AK-47 rifle and 25 pistols, in Punjab's Amritsar district during an intelligence-based operation. An Indian national has been detained and is being questioned.
