After inaugurating the Rashtriya Prerna Stha and unveiling the statues of Jan Sangh founder Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in Lucknow, Mr Modi said the BJP's values teach respect for everyone which no one can expect from the Congress or the Samajwadi Party.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary, stating that his leadership will continue to serve as a guiding light for the all-round development of the nation.

Today, PM Modi surpassed late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s tenure who served for 2268 days in his combined terms.
Dr Singh, while addressing the inaugural function of the year-long birth centenary celebrations of the late Prime Minister organised by the Congress's Telangana unit, said he is particularly happy that the programme coincides with the presentation of the first budget of Rao's government by him in 1991.
