The 30-year-old was thrashed by her brother-in-law after she voted for the BJP in the recently held Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.
Interacting with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) via video conferencing, he said that elections have to be won not on social media, but by reaching out to people.
Addressing a meeting of BJP Members of Parliament here, Modi said, “Victory in the Assembly elections is party workers’ win, don’t consider it Modi’s victory.”
The Samajwadi Party nation president said the results should be a matter of concern for the BJP.
Except for a few Maoist pockets, polls are usually peaceful in the state, but the Commission wants to make the polls inducement-free after the bitter experience of Munugode bypoll.
