Star Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Kuldeep Yadav has issued a warning to Indian skipper Virat Kohli and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who are set to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings in the eleventh edition of Indian Premier League, respectively, ahead of the cash-rich league.

Talking to Cricketnext, Kuldeep Yadav said dismissing Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni in IPL 2018 was on his bucket list.

“I would be lying if I said I don’t have any personal goals going into this season of the IPL. I too have a bucket list and I wish to dismiss Kohli and Dhoni. You don’t get better players of spin bowling and the IPL is the only tournament when you get to have a go at them,” Kuldeep told Cricketnext.

“Sometimes I feel I am privileged that I am in the same team as them and don’t need to bowl to them on the international stage. But this year I want to dismiss them and this is the tournament that gives me that opportunity,” Kuldeep added.

The IPL 2018 will kickstart on 7 April and MS Dhoni’s CSK will take on Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians in the opening match of the tournament.

Kuldeep Yadav, who was bought by Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders In the IPL players’ auction for Rs 5.8 crore using the Right-To-Match card is expected to lead the bowling of the team, but he ruled out added pressure in doing so.

“There is always pressure to perform when you walk onto the field. But what is important is how you channelize that to ensure that you achieve your goals,” Kuldeep Yadav said.

Kuldeep added: “I don’t think there is any added pressure. It is more about being able to tick the right boxes than anything else.”
