Virat Kohli-led Team India has taken a lead of 2-1 in the ongoing four-match Test series against Australia after they thrashed the Oz team by 137 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne.
With the win, India have also retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The fourth and last match of the Test series will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney starting Thursday, January 3, 2019.
It is also worth mentioning that with the win over Australia, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has equalled the record of former India captain Sourav Ganguly for the most number of wins in Tests overseas.
