Zayn Malik reminisces about Gigi Hadid after break-up

Celebrity ex-couple Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid recently broke up, leaving all of us in a shock.

Singer Zayn and supermodel Gigi are no longer together and there was a time when Zayn wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Zayn has finally opened up about the spilt.

The singer recently released his single, Let Me, which features Zayn in a criminal look with model Sofia Jamora.

Recently, Zayn had a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, wherein he confessed that he had written Let Me about 7-8 months ago, while he was still dating Gigi Hadid.

He also said, “I was in love and I think that’s pretty evident. I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life and the rest of theirs, as we all do. Things change and we move forward in life. Times change, but that’s what I was thinking when I wrote it.”

Zayn added that he does not regret his relationship. “We go through experiences, so we have memories and stories and things to write down and contemplate and think about. You get to really put your experience into something. It should be remembered forever.”

The much-in-love couple sent shockwaves among their fans by announcing on their social media handle the decision to split. Zayn and Gigi confirmed their break-up through their posts on Twitter.

Zayn tweets read, “Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all.”

Gigi tweeted, “Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years..not only in relationship but in life in general. ‘I want nothing but the best for him [Zayn] and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for.”

The two started dating in late 2015 and became one of the adorable celebrity couples after they appeared together in Malik’s romantic Pillowtalk music video in January 2016. The couple photographed together on the August 2017 cover of Vogue magazine.
