World Health Day is celebrated on April 7 around the world. The theme for this year is ‘Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere”. Besides films, endorsements, friendship, and relationship, Bollywood celebrities are often known for promoting a healthy lifestyle with a strict workout routine and diet plans.

From eating healthy food to hitting the gym, many celebrities inspire us to stay healthy. Let’s have a look at some of the B-town celebs who are role models when it comes fitness.

Ranveer Singh


Ranveer Singh, the heartthrob of Bollywood, has stolen the hearts of millions. He follows a strict workout and diet regimen. Ranveer prefers to eat home-cooked food.

Ranveer does not believe in skipping his workout sessions and undergoes high-intensity training. His daily workout includes 2 sessions of one-and-half hours each.

Ranveer’s workout involves strength training, cardio, swimming and running. He also believes that running, swimming, cycling or playing a sport is equally important.

Katrina Kaif


Katrina Kaif, the actress with a toned body, never misses out her gym routines and ensures that she eats healthy. “Food plays a big role in remaining in shape and should focus on protein and fiber,” says Katrina Kaif.

Katrina’s diet revolves around eating porridge for breakfast, fish and veggies for lunch and egg whites and soup for dinner.

Her fitness regime comprises pilates, cardio and shape machine exercise.

Hrithik Roshan


Hrithik Roshan is known for his slim and chiseled body. He definitely plays the role of a doting father and teaches his sons to be fit. His workout comprises cardio, weight training, cardio, crunches and side planks.

Hrithik takes frequent meals. His diet includes egg whites, chicken, fish, salads and brown rice. He got inspiration from his mother Pinkie Roshan to stay healthy and fit.

Jacqueline Fernandez


Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline is a transparent beauty and knows how to maintain her fitness. She does Pilates, yoga, weightlifting, dancing, meditation and pole dance. In her upcoming film Race 3, she will be doing the pole dance. She follows the proportion control mantra rather than starving herself and doesn’t believe in quick fixes like juices.

Shilpa Shetty is one of the actresses who has maintained her gorgeous looks with aging. Her toned body, flawless skin and waistline are just up to the mark.
