The ‘E Aankalan’ website, eaanklan.uk.gov, will provide updated information regarding financial and physical progress of administrative departments, district plans, state sector, centrally sponsored schemes and externally aided schemes.

Secretary Planning Dr Ranjit Kumar Sinha informed that through online portal “E-aanklan” not only the financial status but also the physical progress of the schemes can be monitored.

The software has been linked with all the drawing and disbursing officers. The amount deposited in the treasury and the amount spent against the deposited money and the money left unused at the district, department and schemes wise will be monitored.

As per the direction of the union government, the portal will be helpful in checking spendings in the month of March.

The portal will be useful in knowing about the money deposited and spent from treasury on monthly basis.

This would be useful in keeping an eye on implementation of developmental schemes through cash flow and financial sanctions to administrative departments and for better management of spendings.
