Taj Mahotsav continues to enthrall visitors on its third day

The third day of the Taj Mahotsav in Agra showcased a vibrant display of culture, heritage, dance and music.

From thrilling bike rally to graceful performances, the day was full of memorable experiences. The Taj Mahotsav started on February 17 and will conclude on February 27.

The day started with a bird watching event that was organised at Sur Sarovar from 7:30 am. The visitors had the opportunity to spot a wide variety of birds. Following which, roaring through the picturesque landscape of Agra, the Taj Agra Bike Rally was organised from Atal Udyan.

A glimpse of women empowerment was seen in the bike rally as out of approximately 75 bike riders, 25 were women. Other than this, a painting competition was also organised where around 250 students participated.

During the evening, spectacular cultural performances were showcased at Muktakashi Manch Shilpgram where a captivating dance was performed by Navya and Parth. Sudhir Kumar and Siddharth received a lot of applause for their singing. The Awadhi classical dance performance by Nidhi Srivastava grasped the attention of the visitors. At last, Bollywood singer Madhushree Bhattacharya made people dance with her singing.

Many other local artists also displayed their culture and traditions through their dance and singing performances at the main stage of Shilpgram. Various other cultural performances also took place at Atal Udyan and at the open stage of Sadar Bazar.

Tourism and Culture Minister of Uttar Pradesh Jaiveer Singh said that Taj Mahotsav provides a platform to showcase the art, culture and craftsmanship.
