Congress committing dacoity on rights of OBCs, SCs, STs: PM

With an objective to create awareness for good health in the general public, the Fit India Movement is being launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 29 August, 2019.
The Fit India Movement will be launched at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from 10.00 am to 11.00 am. During the launch function, the Prime Minister would also administer a Fitness Pledge. The event will be broadcast live by Doordarshan through DD National, DD News, and DD India.
All the states have been requested to make necessary arrangements for the live telecast of the event in all schools and encourage maximum participation of students and teachers in taking the ‘fitness pledge’.

Meanwhile, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked higher educational institutes to make necessary arrangements for students, faculty and staff to watch the programme live.
Modi, in his monthly address Mann ki Baat on August 25 too, had requested the citizens to be a part of the Fit India movement.
