BJP parliamentary board met on Thursday to decide on Uttar Pradesh chief minister and felicitate party chief Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The board passed resolution in support of PM Modi and it also recognised the achievements of the BJP in the meeting.

The board said that before deciding on the UP CM it would want consensus of all MLAs and so there has been a delay the formation of government in Uttar Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated party workers and MPs for the landslide victory in UP during the first BJP parliamentary party meeting after elections.

He welcomed MPs for showing caution during election campaign and not making unwanted statements. He asked MPs to promote the BHIM app among small-scale traders and organise celebrations from April 6 (BJP’s Foundation Day) to April 14 (Ambedkar Jayanthi).

Anant Kumar after the meeting informed the media that PM Modi at the party meeting said that youth should be made ambassadors of good work of the government.

The board meeting was attended by the party president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with other board members.
