BJP president Amit Shah will interact with booth workers of two Lok Sabha seats in Dehradun this week. Uttarakhand BJP has started preparations for the mega political event. The saffron party has formed different committees for the convention.

Shah will address ‘Trishakti Sammelan’ at the Parade ground in Dehradun on February 2. He will interact with booth workers of Tehri and Haridwar parliamentary seats. Over 17,000 booth workers are expected to attend the meeting. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP made a clean sweep in Uttarakhand by winning all the five seats. This time though the party faces a challenge to repeat the 2014 performance.

BJP party leaders performed ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ at the Parade Ground in Dehradun on Wednesday. Earlier this week, various committees for the successful organization of the convention were announced.

Uttarakhand BJP president Ajay Bhatt said, “Under the ‘Trishakti Sammelan’, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, and Minister of State for External Affairs General (Retd.) Vijay Kumar Singh will be coming to Uttarakhand to interact with booth workers.”

Besides Dehradun, the ‘Trishakti Sammelan’ will be hosted at Almora, Srinagar (Garhwal), and Haldwani.
