Excerpts:

Q You have become a household name,an icon,a brand.How does it feel?

Well I feel humbled for sure and like I keep saying whichever part of the world I am in, I can’t deny Kolkata has given me a lot. The love and respect I command worldwide and mainly in my home town is just unbelievable. It was a roller coaster ride, but yes determination, dedication and devotion to my craft has gotten Dr Paul’s Group of Companies to this stature.

Q Being awarded “The Most Talented Young Entrepreneur Cosmetologist & Dermatologist and Of The Year 2017 In India”is a huge achievement. How are you feeling?

It certainly feels really encouraging when your hard work is appreciated. I thank all my well wishers, friends and family for being supportive all through my journey. However, I feel I still have miles to go.

Q Tell us something about your journey?

I have always lived my life on my own terms and I did not let failures deter me from my goal. For me the journey has not been easy but yes I believe there is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs. I just kept doing my work and in every obstacle I looked out for opportunities. So one thing led to the other and we carved our own niche in India and abroad.

Q Tell us something about Aastro Beauty.

It is being touted as the ultimate way of life these days. This is my years of research. It is a procedure and a journey that leaves you with holistic wellness and fulfillment of your desires and ambitions by perfectly tuning your mind, body and soul. It is a conglomeration of wellness therapy, lifestyle medicine, aura activation, charkha healing, and beauty science and mind activation through different processes.

Q How was your experience overseas especially in Los Angeles,Beverly Hills, Milan and Miami where you were invited as a consultant?

It was indeed an enriching experience. I love the professionalism they have and their hunger to absorb our novel techniques and procedures. They love me for the confidentiality I have maintained about each any every client in India and abroad.

Q Your company has diversified in various segments. How do you manage your time?

I do not mind saying that I am a workaholic. My profession is my passion. We have developed a strong bonded interpersonal workforce. Over the years we have created huge employment opportunities. I had to answer back to all those people who said nothing can happen in Kolkata. It’s too slow, lacks options, etc. My team is in tuned with this principle of mine and we dream the same dream.

Q You are one of the most fashionable and fit entrepreneur in town with a distinct style of your own. What is the secret?

I lead a disciplined life. I do not follow trends rather believe in setting trends. My workouts are important as I do not skip it any day. Until and unless you have a healthy body, you will not be able to give your 100 per cent at anything. And I tell all the youngsters do not become a victim of social pressure. Do some soul searching and be happy and stay away from all types of addictions.

Q You have inspired people across all ages, who inspires you? Life inspires me, work inspires me, smiles I bring to people’s face inspires me. I am also really inspired by Swami Vivekananda. I believe in his saying “Take risks in life, if you win, you can lead! If you lose, you can guide.”

Q We all know about your initiative called “Better Tomorrow”. What made you embark on it?

This works for children all under the age of 18 years coming from vulnerable backgrounds, subjected to child abuse, who have been victims of trafficking, child marriage and school drop outs. I feel a certain quality of life is an elementary and fundamental right of every child. They have been victims of circumstances and gifting back their childhood, their right to good life, and their right to being self reliant. That is exactly what we are trying to do in our meager way.
