Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on Friday morning quashed the reports of her hospitalisation owing to ill health.
Speculations were at rife that the veteran singer had been admitted to hospital, and her fans took to social media to enquire about her health.
Quashing the rumours, Lata Mangeshkar gave a quick update on Twitter about her health. Her post reads, “Namaskar. Meri sehat ke baare mein kuchafwaahein uth rahi hain Lekin aap in par vishwas na karein. Main bilkul swasth hun aur apneghar mein hun….”

Amid the rumors about her health, she had on Tuesday shared a song video and posted: “Aaj mahan kavi Pradeep ji ki punyatithi hai. Main unko aur unki kavya pratibha ko vinamra abhivadan karti hun.”

A few weeks ago, Lata woke up to a barrage of messages and calls expressing grief over her decision to retire.
Lata Mangeshkar, born on 28 September 1929, has sung in over one thousand films. He name was listed in The Guinness Book of Records as the most recorded artiste in the history in 1974. In 2001, Lata Mangeshkar was honoured with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour.
