Punjab Health Secy gets notice on Moosewala’s father’s harassment claim
The government has questioned why the matter was not brought to the attention of the Chief Minister or the Health Minister before an investigation.
Divulging more, the ACS said that the expo would be attended by the governments of Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, north eastern states and Himachal Pradesh.
The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), Chandigarh with the assistance of the Punjab government is all set to organise the Punjab International Trade Expo -2018 at Amritsar from 6 to 10 December.
Disclosing this, the additional chief secretary (ACS), Industries and Commerce, Vini Mahajan said this trade expo would go a long way in strengthening the economic and cultural ties between Punjab as well as the other states and countries.
She said it would also prove to be a milestone in raising awareness regarding brands, forging stable partnerships besides providing push to the trade and business relations.

Divulging more, the ACS said that the expo would be attended by the governments of Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, north eastern states and Himachal Pradesh.
Union Ministries of Textile, Ayush, Khadi and Village and Industries Commission would also be represented in the expo. There is also the likelihood of participation by Thailand, Turkey, Egypt, Afghanistan, South Africa and other global partners.
Mahajan also emphasised the need to establish Amritsar as the central place for exports and disclosed that Punjab Tourism would be under prime focus in the expo with adequate attention also being given to Medical Tourism.
She also added that this expo follows the grand success of the previous XII edition and has the distinction of being the largest expo in the north India. This is a one stop platform for projecting the achievements as well as the capabilities of the Brand Punjab.
The ACS also said that the popularity of this expo can well be gauged from the fact that during the previous edition, over 300 exhibitors from India and abroad took part. The participation of general public crossed two lakh.
From the foreign countries, Afghanistan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Thailand, South Africa, Iraq and Egypt where as from India the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and the north eastern states participated.
