Kovind’s Himachal Pradesh visit preponed to 13 July

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind’s visit to Himachal Pradesh has been preponed and he would now visit the state on 13 July instead of14 July.

The venue of Kovind’s visit has also been changed to Parwanoo from earlier venue of Shimla. The state unit of BJP has convened a meeting of its MLAs on the same day and meeting of the MLAs will be chaired by leader of Opposition and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal in which Union Health and Family Welfare minister JP Nadda along with state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti would be present.

Kovind would visit Shimla on campaign for presidential election that is scheduled to be held on 17 July.
