A sanitary napkin vending machine has been installed at Delhi University’s Keshav Mahavidyalaya college girls’ hostel as part of “women empowerment and hygiene” drive under the CSR Research Foundation in association with ONGC.

The mission Availability, Acceptability, Affordability (AAA) has proved helpful with regard to gender sensitization and helping women get proper healthcare facilities. The installation of vending machine is one step in this direction.

College principal Dr. Madhu Pruthi hailed the CSR initiative saying such efforts would break the myths related to menstruation process.
