It is said that Ankit took decision of the surrender in the court as he was reeling with the fear of being killed in the encounter with the police.

The crackdown of the police on the criminals seem to have spread fear amongst them . On Wednesday Tony, son of Susheel Moochh has surrendered in Pauri court. He was wanted in double murder case.

Few days before two criminal brothers Mohammad Salem and Mohad Irshad paraded on the roads of Kairana of Shamli district with white paper placards announcing to quit crime and promising that they would now raise livelihood for their family with hard work.

They had approached the SP Shamli Ajay Pal Sharma announcing to quit crime who asked them to apologise first to the people. The duo criminals had reportedly taken this step in the fear of facing an encounter.
