Chief Secretary hasn’t resolved problems in ration delivery: Sisodia

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said here on Tuesday that Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash has “done nothing” over the past one week to resolve problems associated with the delivery of ration in the city.

Addressing the media after a cabinet meeting, Sisodia said that during the last cabinet meeting the Chief Secretary was asked to inquire into violations in the implementation of the PoS system in the delivery of ration and also present a proposal on door-step delivery of ration in the next cabinet meeting.

“The CS done nothing in these two matters in the past one week,” Sisodia said.

The Deputy Chief Minister said the Chief Secretary has been asked to finish the inquiry in two weeks’ time.

Meanwhile, just hours before the scheduled meet, Anshu Prakash wrote to Kejrwal and said that he would attend the meeting along with his colleagues on the “assumption that the CM (Kejriwal) will ensure that there is no physical attack and verbal assault on the officers”.

“Since finalising dates of the Budget Session and passing of the Budget are important for functioning of the Government, I, along with my concerned colleague officers, will be attending the said meeting, However, this is based on the assumption that the CM will ensure that there is no physical attack and verbal assault on the officers,” wrote the chief secretary.

According to the media reports, Delhi government on Monday had proposed that the meetings between officers and ministers are streamed Live.
