Himachal minister approaches speaker invoking anti-defection law against 3 MLAs
The three MLAs' petition is pending in the high court against the Speaker for not approving their resignation from the State Legislative Assembly.
A 33-year-old foreign national was allegedly gangraped by two unidentified persons in Manali in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
The victim lodged FIR into the crime at the Police station in Manali on Friday morning. She hails from Russia, according to District Police Chief, Kullu, Shalini Agnihotri.
The Police have registered a rape case under sections 341 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code against two unidentified persons, said the Station House Officer, Manali. The victim alleged that she was raped at around 1 am when she was on her way to her hotel after dinner.

The Police are investigating into the incident.
It is pertinent to mention that in a similar incident, a foreign national was allegedly raped in Manali a few years ago when she took a lift in a truck in midnight hours.
Manali is international tourist destination and large number of foreigners visit the place every year. A number of them have even married the locals and are living in old Manali village.
