According to police sources, they were from Jaipurhat village in the Baliadanga police station area in Bangladesh.
Interrogation revealed that they had sneaked through the unfenced area along the Indo-Bangladesh border located in the Hili police station under cover of darkness recently.
Police found mobile phones and some hard cash in Indian currency from them.
Infiltration is a regular phenomenon in this area located in the vicinity of the International border with Bangladesh. A swathe of the International border having remained unfenced is supposed to be helping infiltration.
