Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata is now being targeted by Chelsea, media reports on Monday said.

After missing out on Romelu Lukaku, who went to Manchester United, Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte has begun the search for a new striker.

According to Sky Sports News HQ, Morata is keen to move to the English Premier League having previously attracted interest from United.

Real Manager Zinedine Zidane though wants the former Juventus forward to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Last Monday, Morata's agent, Juanma Lopez, and his father, Alfonso Morata, met Real officials to discuss the future of the 24-year-old.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have shown interest in re-signing Diego Costa after Conte had differences with him and let the Spain international know he is no more needed in the club.
