Players should focus on sports: Haryana CM Khattar preaches wrestlers
The wrestlers are demanding action against Brijbushan Sharan Singh, accused of sexually harassing women players.
Canada has evinced keen interest in investing in Haryana in the fields of civil aviation, skill development, education, defence and smart city projects.
This was stated by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar after meeting the Canadian Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan, at Chandigarh International Airport.
Khattar said follow-up meetings would be held to facilitate investment by Canadian companies in Haryana which would help create job opportunities. This would benefit both countries, he added.

The chief minister said discussion was held on the two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed during his visit to Canada in 2015. It was decided to set up a working group to ensure implementation of the MoU on horticulture which would be executed jointly by Haryana and Canada.
He also apprised the Canadian minister of the progress made by Haryana in various fields inlcuding the state has been made kerosene-freeand improved sex ratio in the state.
An official spokesperson said that the Canadian minister has lauded the leadership of Khattar saying that Haryana had achieved unprecedented development and growth since the latter's government came to power.
