When people around the world were watching the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at St. Geroge’s Chapel at Winsor Castle on Saturday (May 19), there were some who were busy finding faults. English media personality Katie Hopkins was one of them.

Taking to Twitter, Katie compared Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. While trying to troll the royal bride on the micro-blogging site, she got trolled herself by users. In her tweet, Katie had put the photos of Kate and Meghan in their bridal dress side by side and said: “No competition. You can’t buy class.”

She was, however, not the only one comparing the two royal brides. And they were not comparing Meghan’s minimalist Givenchy dress to Kate’s Sarah Burton gown. They simply tried to say Meghan was not fit for the royal family she married into.

Here are some tweets apart from Katie Hopkins’:

Twitter users were not happy with Katie and the others for comparing Kate and Meghan, as many rightly said Kate and Meghan were two different people with their own accomplishments to be proud of, and that they were not in any sort of competition.

Check out the reactions to Katie Hopkins’ tweet:

At the wedding, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan donned a Givenchy boat-neck fit-and-flared long-sleeve gown, which she styled with a gorgeous long veil. She accessorised her look with a stunning tiara from the royal treasure.

On the other hand, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore a beautiful lace Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton on her wedding day. Her iconic dress featured long lace sleeves, a v-neckline and an epic train. Kate had accessorised her look with a stunning tiara from Queen Elizabeth II’s Cartier Halo Scroll.
