Five terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba (LeT) outfit have been killed in an ongoing encounter with the security forces in the Kiloora forest area of Shopian in south Kashmir.
Army spokesman, Colonel Rajesh Kalia said on Saturday that bodies of four terrorists along with their weapons were recovered this morning.
One terrorist was eliminated on Friday when the security forces came under their fire. The encounter started yesterday when the security forces cordoned the area following reports of a group of LeT hiding in the area.

The operation is on to flush out more terrorists.
Meanwhile, an officer of the BSF was injured Friday evening when Pakistan snipers targeted him in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district.
The injured officer has been identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector SK Mishra of 126 Batallion of BSF. He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
