Vivo finally launched its much anticipated V17 Pro in India on Friday. The smartphone comes with a dual pop-up selfie camera, fast charging support, full-screen display, glass body, among other specs. The V17 Pro succeed the V15 Pro that was launched in the country earlier this year.

Vivo V17 Pro specs

Display: The V17 Pro equips a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display that offers 2400x1080p, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and screen-to-body of 91.65 per cent.

Processor: Vivo V17 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor that also powers the predecessor V15 Pro.

RAM: 8GB

Storage: 128GB

Software: V17 Pro runs the latest FunTouch 9 OS based on Android 9 Pie.

Rear camera: It comes with 48MP primary Sony IMX582 sensor, 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP wide-angle lens and 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.

Front camera: The V17 Pro includes 32MP primary shooter and the second camera is an 8MP super wide-angle lens.

1. As mentioned one of the biggest highlights of the Vivo V17 Pro is its dual pop-up camera setup on the front panel. This is the first smartphone to come with such a camera system. The front camera includes a 32MP + 8MP setup.
2. The Vivo V17 Pro is made of glass. The glass body of the Vivo V17 Pro adds to the overall design of the smartphone. The Vivo V17 Pro comes with a Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the back panel.
3. On the rear panel, the Vivo V17 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup. This is the first Vivo V-series smartphone to come with four cameras on the back panel. The Vivo V17 Pro launches in India with a price tag of Rs 29,990 and comes in only one variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone doesn’t come with microSD card support. The smartphone is available for pre-order and will go on sale in India via Flipkart, Vivo e-store, and offline stores across the country from September 27.
