Anticipating a tie up between old allies TDP and BJP along with Jana Sena, the AP chief minister has been projecting himself as a crusader fighting a lonely battle with opponents ganged up against him from all fronts.
The Left parties protested against Amit Shah’s visit alleging that the BJP has done nothing for Andhra Pradesh so far. They also blamed the party for the decision to privatize the Vizag Steel plant.
However, Chief Secretary KS Jawhar Reddy is confident that in two years the infrastructure would be ready in Vizag.
Despite being number one in the ease of doing business for successive years, investment and industrialisation have been the Achilles heel of the YSRC Government.
The former CM cites the case of Amara Raja Batteries Limited, the one-billion dollar company which is leaving its home state.
The YSRCP aimed to prove that both north Andhra and Rayalaseema regions were in support of the three-capital plan of the state government.
"If Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's government thinks it can suppress voices raised against its appeasement politics, it is scripting its downfall! Better remember, they are dealing with the BJP and not with TDP as per their 40:60 contracts," Deodhar claimed.
