The Average Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city was measured at 364, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Some places in the city continued to battle 'severe' levels of air quality with AQI levels clocking over 400.
The city's average AQI on Tuesday evening reached 364, as per the CPCB, based on readings from 37 out of 40 air monitoring stations across the national capital.
The average air quality in the national capital continued to reel under the 'poor' category with an average (AQI) of 261, as per the CPCB bulletin.
On Monday, the SAFAR recorded Delhi's AQI at 317. At the Delhi University area, the air quality was recorded 'very poor' with the presence of PM 2.5 in the air recorded at 371, whereas the Pusa area recorded it at 341.
