In a public notice, the University Grants Commission declared that the so-called Daksh University (Vocational and Life Skills Education), reportedly located at Bhaskar Path, New Pundag, Masibari, Ranchi 834007, is not recognised under the UGC Act.
He said the apex court’s decision to put the new UGC regulations on hold and to constitute a committee of experts and scholars to examine the matter is a step in the right direction.

The registration under first phase of CSAS has started from September 12. The second phase will start from September 26 and will end on October 10.
