A rally was organised to promote source segregation of waste, the ban on single-use plastic, and to encourage citizens to make cleanliness a mass movement.
“Two persons involved in the assault have been arrested, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the remaining accused,” said a senior officer.
“A tipoff was received by one of the officers, who was told that Bharat would be arriving near Rajpura Road, OPL Gate, to meet his associates,” the officer added.
