The Passengers on board Air India flight from Kochi to Delhi faced an unexpected delay on Sunday after a technical snag was detected during the aircraft's take-off roll.
The A320 aircraft, operating flight 6E2006 from Delhi to Leh, returned to the national capital after being airborne for over two hours, airline sources said.
Later, Modi left for Delhi from Deoghar in another aircraft after a delay of more than two hours, sources said.
Talking to The Statesman, an official from the DMRC said: "Services were delayed on the Delhi Metro's Yellow Line due to some technical issue which was developed in the train at Rajiv Chowk metro station."
The Indigo flight took off from the national capital at around 7.40 am and returned at 8.20 am.
The pilot ejected safely and was in stable condition.
At 4:50 pm the train's AC stopped working before reaching Allahabad station. The glitch was rectified, cooling ensured and the train left at around 6 pm.
A senior DGCA official said the Hawker 850 XP aircraft VT-KNB returned back to Delhi after take-off due to a technical snag.
