The PIL was filed by advocate Rajasimhan contending that the image of the author smoking glorifies it as a symbol of intellectual and creative expression.
While staying the single bench’s order, the division bench also extended the ban on field postings of sub-inspectors recruited through the paper leak-tainted exam.
