The West Bengal School Service Commission (SSC) on Thursday released a complete list of 1,806 candidates from the 2016 recruitment panel, who were previously identified as “tainted and disqualified” by the courts.
A section of the SSC candidates moved Calcutta High court on Monday allegedly over the presence of tainted candidates in the recently-published SSC list of candidates for interviews.
A teaching job aspirant, who appeared in State Level Selection Test (SLST) conducted by West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) in September, has decided to move the Calcutta High Court after his name did not feature in the SSC results.
Amidst legal tangles over SSC tainted candidates, the commission today published the list of about 35,726 vacant posts for which examinations are scheduled on 7 and 14 September.
The high court also reprimanded such candidates for filling the petition and questioned their intention.
