Forest officials manage to trap strayed tiger

The tiger was finally caught today with the forest officials managing to knock it out with a tranquillizer dart. It was safely put in a cage and ferried to a hospital to undergo a clinical check-up. The state forest minister Jyotipriyo Mullick said that a large number of forest officials was deployed to catch the tiger, ensuring it doesn’t get killed at the hands of people.

3 killed in blast in Bengal’s South 24 Parganas

According to the local people, the magnitude of the blast was so high that the window panes of some of the neighbouring houses broke and the bodies were thrown nearly 200 metres away from the blast site. According to the police, the blast took place on the roof and the concrete roof collapsed.
