In written communications, the L-G has instructed the police to maintain a digital record of all entities purchasing or selling ammonium nitrate beyond a specified threshold, including photographs of buyers and sellers.
According to the police, they have reopened only two of the four gates providing access to the metro station. From Saturday onwards, Delhi Metro passengers can enter the Lal Qila Metro station exclusively through Gate No. 2 and Gate No. 3.
However, officials maintain that security arrangements for tourists remain robust and that local authorities continue to monitor all developments closely in the valley.
