Bhupender Gupta, CMD, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) urged the employees of the Nigam to proactively participate in all activities being organised by it during ‘Swachhta Pakhwada 2026’ across all its projects and offices.
At the project Power House complex, Sharma commenced the concreting of Transformer Hall, GIS building, welding works at Draft Tube 1, concreting of Control Room slab and right abutment of bridge on river Arun in the presence of SJVN (Finance) Director, Akhileshwar Singh.
He lauded the flagship power stations for setting benchmarks in single day, monthly and quarterly power generation.
The MoU was signed by D P Kaushal, SJVN executive director and UIT director Professor P L Sharma.
The project is expected to generate 244 MU (million units) in a year. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) shall be signed between GUVNL and SJVN for 25 years.
