A total of 35 projects worth Rs 4,857.11 crore were sanctioned under the Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North Eastern Region (PM-DeVINE), said Union Minister of State for Development of North-East Region (DoNER) Sukanta Majumdar on Wednesday.
Out of these 228 projects, the number of projects falling under different ministries are MNRE (10), MoHUA (12), MoPNG (4), MoPSW (3), MoR (85), MoRTH (108), NICDC (12), MoCA (3).
It approved Rs. 147.76 crore for Chhattisgarh, Rs. 201.10 crore for Odisha and Rs. 376.76 crore for West Bengal. The committee included the Finance Minister, Agriculture Minister and Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog as members.
