The installment amount will be released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday during the inauguration of the "PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022" at Indian Agricultural Research Institute here.
An annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000 is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal four-monthly installments of Rs 2,000 each, under the PM-KISAN scheme.
Assam Congress President Ripun Bora claimed that the state government has also not yet been able to identify the five lakh beneficiaries under the PM-KISAN scheme from the selected list as there is no existence of these five lakh farmers.
The instalment will enable the transfer of more than Rs 19,000 crore to over 9.5 crore beneficiary farmer families.
She also announced 1.5 crore jobs in the next five years. She asked why the Union government has yet not disbursed any cash benefit to these eligible beneficiaries under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna.
Chief minister said farmers should not suffer due to Centres politics and so she has asked for the data and assured them of all possible help.
PM Modi had lashed out at Mamata Banerjee accusing her of destroying the state and depriving its over 70 lakh farmers of benefits from the centre's flagship PM-KISAN scheme.
The data showed about 2.51 crore farmers have not got even the second installment and 5.16 crore of them were yet to get the third installment.
An estimated 14.5 crore farmers stand to benefit from the extension of the PM-Kisan scheme.
